My main research interests are age-related macular degeneration, ocular inflammatory disease and computer analysis of retinal imaging. Currently I am studying retinal and choroidal changes in AMD patients after medication or use of intraocular injections of anti-VEGF injection and inflammatory mechanisms in AMD. I am collecting DNA and serum samples from a large variety of patients with ocular inflammatory diseases that can be used to test hypotheses on contributory genetic and serum factors.
