My research interests include: various aspects of driving including driving with visual acuity or visual field impairment, and/or cognitive impairment. I am also intently interested in research looking at the phenotypic differences of individuals with various types of inherited eye diseases, which drives my involvement as a member of the gene replacement clinical trial team for the RPE65 form of Leber's Congenital Amaurosis. Finally, I have research interests related to the care of children with visual impairments, including literacy issues related to this population.
